Software Support Technician

Mapcom is currently seeking a software support technician. Support technicians must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent customer service and communication skills a must! Duties will include working with customers to replicate and solve software questions and issues while logging and keeping records of all customer queries. Previous experience in a help desk environment, telecommunications or GIS related field a plus. Sales Assistant/Account Manager

Mapcom is currently seeking career oriented individuals for a Sales Assistant/Account Manager position to assist sales personnel with contacting prospects and preparing for tradeshows. Highly motivated candidate will coordinate tradeshows, assist in developing customer relationships by uncovering needs, educating potential clients on products and services, and taking a team approach to developing a solution to meet those needs. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the telecommunications industry, as well as possess a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years experience in sales/marketing or event planning/tradeshow coordination in the telecommunications or software industry; strong communication and exceptional phone skills. The candidate should also have experience with developing and delivering presentations, Microsoft Office applications, and contact management software. Travel is required. Network Specialist

We are currently seeking a full time Network Specialist. The Netowrk Specialist manages the internal network and IT infrastructure for the company, in addition to serving as an external IT consultant and sales engineer to demonstrate how the company's product may be used to support network operations. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technologies and at least three years of direct network management experience. Additional requirements include the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, assist in providing application-based training and demonstrations, and work closely with developers, support, data integration and sales personnel in support of company objectives.
