Pembroke Telephone Cooperative Selects M4® Solutions to Map and Manage Their Telecom

M4 software will provide greater efficiency and improved workflow.

June 10, 2009 – RICHMOND, VA – Mapcom Systems, a leading provider of Geographical Operations System (GOS) software, announced today that Pembroke Telephone Cooperative based in Pembroke, Virginia, has selected M4 Solutions to manage its network infrastructure.

The M4 Solutions software includes complete design and mapping tools, integrated work order, fiber and central office management and various support applications such as CPR integration, dispatch management and services management. The M4 software is designed to map the entire telecom plant facility from the central office to the customer structure. The software then ties each map item back to an individual database record, which is then integrated with the telephone company’s existing customer, assignment and billing records.

“With M4 Solutions as the platform for our operations, our employees will have quick access to data that is shared and stored company-wide. We will be able to respond faster to our customers and do so more cost effectively creating a positive economic impact on our operations,” explains Tony Eaton, Assistant Manager for Pembroke Telephone.

Pembroke Telephone provides service to almost 3,000 customers located in its Southwest Virginia vicinity. In business since 1967, Pembroke Telephone offers local and long distance, cable TV and internet services and joins over 135 communications providers who have selected M4 Solutions.
