Mapcom Launches Knowledgebase Using Wiki for Improved Client Support

M4 Wikibase uses web technology to enhance client access to an improved knowledgebase.

April 26, 2010 – RICHMOND, VA – In a continuing effort to provide even higher levels of customer support, Mapcom Systems, developers of mapping software–M4® Solutions, has launched the M4 Wikibase using the Wiki server to speed client access to M4 related content.

The M4 Wikibase is a central hub of information including a knowledgebase, product release notes and searchable training documentation. The Wikibase pages encompass every M4 software component, as well as provide useful database management reference materials that offer a variety of SQL statement assistance.

In addition to having a library of training related documentation, the Wikibase provides a touch point for clients to access M4 workflow guides and best practices, including training handouts from Mapcom’s annual M4 Users Conference.

The idea for providing this new resource was driven by feedback derived from Mapcom’s annual Customer Satisfaction Survey, which is distributed to existing M4 software users. “We are excited to offer our clients a new way to access Mapcom support,” said Donna Leigh, Customer Satisfaction and Support Manager. “We envision this Wikibase as a centralized hub for locating training documentation, M4 news and interaction with certified Support techs,” added Leigh.
