Mapcom Announces the Release of M4® Solutions Version 11

Enhanced tools and new features facilitate profitable revenue growth for telecommunications and campuses using M4’s platform.

February 2, 2012 – RICHMOND, VA – Mapcom Systems has released the newest version in its line of Operations Support System software, M4 Solutions. The release greatly enhances management capability for wireless networks and fiber splices while simplifying design reports for circuits.

“We have listened to our clients in building new M4 functionality for version 11, especially in regards to our M4 Wireless offering,” said John Granger, company President of Mapcom Systems.

Positioning it as a truly unique offering in the wireless management market, M4 Wireless can now generate precise propagation coverage reports for defined antennas. Propagation maps can be exported as .KML files to Google EarthTM for visual representation and analysis.

M4 Fiber has great improvements in the ease-of-use of splice diagrams, which now have additional features to better simulate splices as they exist in the field.

M4 Workforce now includes driving directions and route optimization for ticket assignment, as well as an improved interface for easier browsing and editing. Several modules have new data verification features to improve accuracy.

“Users will have an overall better experience with M4 software because of version 11, and will find tremendous value in the additions to M4 Wireless for network coverage and management reporting,” added Granger.
