Mapcom Announces Creation of One Call Integration
M4 Solutions One Call Integration streamlines utility location processDecember 14, 2009 – RICHMOND, VA – Mapcom Systems, developers of M4 Solutions, announced today the integration between their M4 Dispatch Manager module and their One Call utility location product. The integration between these two products will greatly speed the utility location process for telecommunications companies nationwide.
"One Call locates have become a time consuming task for many of our clients and we continually strive to help our clients maximize efficiency," said Chuck Flournoy, COO of Mapcom Systems. "We have found that our M4 One Call Integration entirely eliminates the clerical response, saving clients' valuable time," added Flournoy.
The integration process is anchored by the automated M4 One Call Integration plug-in. This stealthy tool automatically searches the user's e-mail account daily without user prompts or intervention. Using an advanced automated filtration process, the M4 One Call Integration plug-in converts One Call e-mails into trouble tickets, which can be managed in M4 Dispatch Manager.
M4 One Call Integration partnership with M4 Dispatch Manager automatically creates a historical log of all One Call tickets, saving administrative time. Moreover, upon One Call ticket import, M4 Dispatch Manager places a symbol on the map. Finding the location of a dig site has never been easier, with the 'Find on Map' button located on every ticket in M4 Dispatch Manager. Determining affected plant is possible with the click of a button, saving telecommunications companies time and money.
