  • Geographically track and manage trouble tickets and service orders from creation to close
  • Map service order locations
  • Easily view open and closed trouble tickets
  • Track truck locations with GPS
  • Efficiently balance workload using built-in Ticket Appointment Manager
  • See full-day view of each technician and their appointments
  • Create skill sets for each technician
  • Dynamic drag and drop ticket scheduling
  • In real-time, notes for a particular ticket can be added and viewed by multiple departments

M4 Dispatch Manager works directly with the everyday mapping and management functions of M4 and gives trouble tickets and service orders an immediate connection to the maps. Whether it’s employees working in engineering, installation and repair or in the call center, all have access to the same critical data that can easily be viewed and updated in a geographic display.

Using Added Technology

When M4 Dispatch Manager software is used in conjunction with an Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) satellite connection, it enables real time transfer of trouble ticket and service order information and status between dispatch, the Network Operations Center (NOC), customer service and field technicians. In addition, it offers providers with the ability to map and display the exact location of technicians for scheduling and verification purposes.

Satellite-Based Workforce Management

Enhance the power of M4 Dispatch Manager by incorporating the latest in satellite technology. Mapcom’s partnership with FMS creates the ability to track and dispatch work to vehicle assets in virtual real time through M4 – all without any dependence on cellular coverage and via the same Iridium satellite network used to power Skyphone® technology.

The Highlights of this Capability Include:

  • Virtually real-time visual of where each truck is in your system, with GPS coordinates
  • Historical “bread-crumbs” log of where each truck has travelled and how long it stayed at each location
  • Driver statistics such as maximum speed and hard braking instances
  • Geo-fencing capabilities to alert supervisors if a truck leaves a pre-defined area
  • Maintenance logs created directly from the vehicle’s on-board diagnostic unit
