M4 GPS Tools helps your organization efficiently turn GPS data into usable records in the M4 database. Easily take GPS coordinates gathered by the crew in the field and use them to track and maintain assets. The toolbar allows the user to find the latitude and longitude of any point on the map, as well as finding a point on the map using latitude and longitude.M4 GPS Tools also features the ability to translate values in a database table from one coordinate system to another. Once GPS data has been brought into M4, the information can be used to simplify the completion of FCC Form 477.

While M4 GPS Tools works with most any handheld GPS receiver, Mapcom’s partnership with Magellan allows for an added level of efficiency in taking field data and turning it into usable M4 records. In addition, a completely configurable data dictionary allows users to choose which information is collected. The MobileMapper CX is a flexible, accurate, durable, and affordable unit which features compatibility with Windows CE-based GIS applications.
