The M4 Telephony module, an extension to M4 Foundation, provides high performance outside plant design and maintenance tools. M4 Telephony manages rippling counts on cable throws with ease - from the throw point out to the end of the network, complements on cables, load-coils and terminals are updated automatically. This includes retaining the as-built complements and unlimited pre-post throw sequences, each associated with specific work orders.
Loop makeup reports are produced quickly and easily. Simply pick a cable section, select a range of pairs and in seconds, M4 Telephony will build a complete loop makeup report to include length and gauge of an individual section, total cable composition by gauge, load summary, resistance and signal loss.
M4 Telephony also provides the tools that are needed to create and maintain an electrically connected data model. These include comprehensive reporting, automatic sourcing and thorough validation of the complement as it is edited.
