Software Sales Executive

We’re looking for a proven and effective Software Sales Executive that will accelerate sales and drive business growth.  Seeking a dynamic, high-performer with experience selling software solutions. This person will have the opportunity to work with leading telecom companies. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment amongst sales activities and other functions within the company. Someone with excellent customer facing skills, proficient technical aptitude, and solid experience with a consultative selling approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge and experience working within a solution-selling environment with daily exposure to telecom.
  • Build new business, strengthen customer relationships, and understand industry trends.
  • Develop proposals and presentations to meet expressed and perceived customer needs, liaising with technical resources as necessary.
  • Close software sales and services working with the team to ensure on-time fulfillment, overall product satisfaction and question/problem resolution.
  • Record all customer/prospect communications in NetSuite.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales booking forecasts and support the budgeting and annual planning process.
  • Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, user groups, trade shows, and expositions

Requirements:

  • Five years of proven experience as a sales executive meeting or exceeding targets in enterprise software sales.
  • Experience in telecom and geographic information systems (GIS) required.
  • Knowledge of Esri ecosystem desirable.
  • History of successful sales growth and business development. 
  • Proven ability to drive a sales process from plan to close.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • This position requires extensive travel (up to 50%) primarily in the US
