Data Integration Specialist

Position Overview
The Data Integration Specialist’s role is to model/map and execute all activities related to the integration of data across various sources into an organized and unified view. 

 

Key Responsibilities You Will Have

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation, and problem resolution. 
  • Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
  • Develop, test, and implement program logic.
  • Translate business needs into end-user applications.

 

Abilities We Need You to Bring

  • Proficiency in programming database applications with experience in development, test and production environments.
  • Experience with SQL Server and Transact. SQL is required.
  • Experience with VB6, C++, Java, or .Net a plus.
  • Analysis, mapping, transforming and transferring data from a variety of data formats will be necessary. Familiarity with full product development life cycle and will be expected to solve complex problems efficiently, with sound technical methods.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Experience and proven effectiveness working collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Highly enthusiastic, positive-minded, customer focused, service-orientated.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with 3-5 years experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Engagement Manager

Position Overview
We are looking for an Engagement Manager to build positive relationships with clients throughout the customer lifecycle. You’ll be the assigned clients’ first point of contact, ensuring that our customers remain satisfied with our services.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to communicate well and multi-task under tight deadlines. Experience in sales and customer service is an asset in this position. If you’re a team player and a problem-solver, we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to ensure that our relationships with customers are strong, referenceable and enduring.  The Engagement Manager understands the Client business and owns the Client problem. 

 

Key Responsibilities You Will Have

  • Foster positive relationships with our customers as their primary point of contact
  • Help clients implement services and plan projects effectively
  • Ensure that contract terms and conditions are met
  • Manage invoices and bills for assigned customers
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Address customer issues with speed and efficiency
  • Work with sales teams to generate new business
  • Prepare reports on project performance
  • Help clients through the customer lifecycle
  • Ensure contracts and charter terms are met
  • Identify upselling leads & opportunities
  • Track & manage customer issues
  • Work with multiple cross-functional teams & environments
  • Maintain priorities and expectations for clients
  • Provide strategic best practices for clients and their environments

 

Abilities We Need You to Bring

  • Strong technical background
  • High level of experience in one or more of the following specialized skills: business analysis, systems analysis, product management
  • Experience and proven effectiveness working collaboratively in a distributed team environment
  • Good facilitation skills for information gathering and determining client business requirements
  • Ability to translate Client needs into solutions (functional requirements)
  • Project management, planning, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
  • Self-confidence and experience in a consultative, client-facing role
  • Highly enthusiastic, positive-minded, customer focused, service-orientated

 

Experience You Should Have

  • Proven experience as an Engagement Manager
  • Proven project management experience
  • Background in sales or customer service is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM/project management software
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Web Application Developer

We are looking for a passionate Web Application Developer to help grow our brand and business by working on one of the most premier software solutions in the telecommunications industry. You will be required to work both independently and as a part of the development team as well as bring your prior experience developing web-based applications to a team of growing and talented developers.

 

Key Responsibilities You Will Have
Web Application Developer to perform system analysis, develop, test and implement applications and databases for a full suite of software solutions primarily web-based applications as well as client/server and third-party integrations.

 

Abilities We Need You to Bring

  • Coding, testing and debugging programs according to specifications
  • Creating, modifying, expanding and updating primarily web applications
  • Integrating third-party data sources

 

Experience You Should Have

  • 2+ years of experience with a strong background in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, JQuery, AJAX and SQL Server
  • Proficient in the analysis, mapping, transforming and transferring of data from a variety of data formats using a variety of methods
  • Prior experience developing fiber management and circuit management functionality is a plus
  • Experience with GIS/CAD applications, Entity Framework, Java, Telerik, Xamarin, or XML/Web Services/API is a plus
  • Strong communication skills

Position Overview
The Workforce Product Manager is a tech-savvy and business minded pioneer, with one eye on what’s possible today and the other on what’s next. As the Workforce Product Manager, you will be involved in every aspect of the product lifecycle, from brainstorming the next big product idea to documentation. You are the consummate team player; collaborating and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities You Will Have

  • Leverage marketplace data and client feedback to create a vision and product strategy for M4 Workforce
  • Design and launch new Workforce features that complement Mapcom’s product strategy
  • Understand how the Workforce product fits within the value-chain of the entire M4 product suite
  • Communicate both the business and technical rationale behind your product recommendations and decisions
  • Work closely with architecture and development teams to ensure M4 Workforce is built to suit marketplace and client needs
  • Document, train, and deliver to new enhancements
  • Serve as the key liaison to product marketing and sales for M4 Workforce and its features
  • Act as the subject matter expert and product expert for M4 Workforce
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and market trends in order to run Special Interest Groups for M4 Workforce
  • Aggregate and analyze market and client feedback to steer M4 Workforce through its product life-cycle

Abilities We Need You to Bring

  • Ability to Collaborate with the team in determining the long-term vision, strategy and priorities
  • Bring evidence-based decision-making in your communication, but also be prepared to make decisions based on imperfect information
  • Gain a deep understanding of our product and its uses: evangelize, educate, and engage our users and stakeholders
  • Be empathic with our users. Bring the “voice of the customer” onto our team
  • Understand the competitive landscape and evaluate market trends to better inform our product roadmap
  • Help determine our product roadmap and backlog priorities

Experience You Should Have

  • 3-5 years of experience managing business activities or the development of software products
  • Strong business accumen
  • Familiarity with product management, quality assurance, and project management principles within a software company
  • Excellent written and verbal skills – ability to communicate effectively across all levels and to large audiences
  • Must have ability to work well with others, accept direction, and operate under tight timelines
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Strong understanding and experience working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
