October 19, 2016 – RICHMOND, VA Mapcom Systems, a leading provider of visual operations management software, hosted their annual M4 Users Conference at the Downtown Marriott in Richmond, VA October 10 – 14. Clients from all over the country traveling to Richmond to participate in trainings, workshops, special interest groups, and social outings.

 

James Madison University (JMU), who adapted Mapcom’s M4 Solutions last year, attended the conference to gain more knowledge on the software. Since becoming a client, JMU has been able to increase efficiency in many aspects such as processing locates, manholes, and identifying emergency phones. All of these have resulted in a pace of saving over 150+ man hours a year.

 

Every year the Proactive Plant Management award is given to a few Mapcom clients at the M4 Users Conference. James Madison University was one of the winners this year for their dedication to efficient plant management using M4 Solutions.
