RICHMOND, Va. – Mapcom Systems, a global leader in visual OSS and BSS software solutions for telecommunications service providers, has announced that Paratus Africa has begun the implementation of Mapcom’s M4 Solutions Suite to accelerate the service fulfilment process and manage the planning, buildout, and maintenance of their broadband network.
Throughout the course of the transaction, a key role was played by one of Mapcom Systems’ Channel Partners – Adcomtec, a telecommunications infrastructure solutions provider based out of Pretoria, South Africa. Based on Adcomtec’s prior work and experience with Paratus, Mapcom Systems was able to connect with the team at the 2017 International Telecoms Week and begin discussing how M4 Solutions could ease a number of pain points. Terry Sanderson from Adcomtec became an influential participant in facilitating the entire evaluation process, including onsite visits. As Sanderson mentioned, “It was a unique and valuable opportunity, being able to share our own Mapcom experience with the team at Paratus and aid their journey. Adcomtec joined Mapcom’s Channel Partner program in 2015 and has already seen a wide variety of networking and business opportunities open for both companies.” Sanderson was able to attend Mapcom’s annual User Conference in Richmond in November of 2017 and make valuable connections with telecom providers from the rural United States and the world.
