WTA announces elections of new officers and members of their Board of Directors during annual Fall meeting.

 

October 14, 2013 – RICHMOND, VA – Mapcom Systems is pleased to announce that the Western Telecommunications Alliance (WTA) has selected Matt Gilbert, an Associate Member, to serve a three-year term on their Board of Directors. WTA’s outgoing President, James Woody, also presented Gilbert with the association’s Associate Member Award. Gilbert is a Senior Sales Executive at Mapcom Systems, based in Richmond, Va.

Gilbert joined Mapcom in 2006, and since then has travelled extensively throughout the U.S., visiting countless rural telecommunications companies to better understand their needs and objectives and to help maximize their efficiency and use of M4 Solutions. During this time, his work has included digital cartography, sales engineering and account management.

WTA’s award presentations and elections of new officers and Board of Directors members were announced during the WTA 2013 Fall Meeting, held in San Francisco, California from September 29 – October 2, 2013.
