M4 software will help Foothills Telephone Cooperative manage operations and infrastructure visually.
April 5, 2013 – RICHMOND, VA – Mapcom Systems, a leading provider of visual operations management software, announced today that Foothills Telephone Cooperative, a telecommunications service provider based in Staffordsville, Kentucky, has selected M4 Solutions as the operations solution to help manage their inside and outside networks for their Kentucky facilities.
The M4 Solutions software includes comprehensive design and mapping tools, integrated work order, fiber and central office management and various support applications, such as workforce management, services management and CPR integration. The M4 software is designed to map the entire telecom plant facility from the central office to the customer structure. The software then ties each map item back to an individual database record, which is then integrated with the telephone company’s existing customer, assignment and billing records.
“We had been looking for a solution to help us streamline our internal processes and reduce our paperwork for some time.
