Enhanced tools and new features facilitate increased efficiency and profitable revenue growth for telecommunications companies and campuses using M4’s visual operations software platform.

February 18, 2014 – RICHMOND, VA – Mapcom Systems has released the newest version in its suite of Visual Operations System (VOS) software, M4 Solutions. Version 14 strikes at the core of the most pressing issues service providers face today: generation of additional revenue, and serving customers more efficiently and effectively. In all, the release contains over 50 enhancements covering virtually all of the modules within the suite.

“New reporting functionality within the suite makes it easier for executives and managers to obtain metrics at the click of a button,” said David Spiller, Vice President of Technology for Mapcom Systems.

More than 40 percent of enhancements in this release were fulfilled user requests, a continuation of Mapcom Systems’ commitment to meet and exceed customer expectations. New features have been added to the following existing M4 modules: M4 Foundation, M4 Auto-Assignment, M4 Circuit Manager, M4 Fiber, M4 Inventory, M4 Mobile Tech, M4 Network Equipment Manager, M4 Report Writer, M4 Wireless and M4 Workforce.

The M4 RevGen Suite is a new addition in this release of M4 Solutions Suite Version 14. It is comprised of elements from M4 Services Manager, M4 AutoRouting, M4 Universal Translator, and M4 Process Manager modules, as well as CRM and other key M4 Data Integration Cartridges.

The addition of the M4 RevGen Suite brings key functionality to the M4 Solutions Suite by targeting commercial and residential sales growth opportunities with an integrated visual toolkit. M4 RevGen enables a provider’s sales and marketing teams to win more business by identifying and pre-qualifying targets and creating on-the-spot solutions for each prospective customer to view.

M4 Auto-Assignment enhancements continue to focus on increasing visibility and access to customer plant records across the user’s network. Enhancements in Version 14 give users increased ability to view linecard history linked to a customer or service location. Users are also able to perform fuzzy linecard searches to view customer assignment information.

M4 Report Viewer now allows users to access their reports from anywhere via the web. Users can now use M4 Report Viewer to create charts, tabular reports and identify trends, improving visual analysis capabilities. This allows management to create, view and assign reports based on the roles of employees and provides them the power to make informed decisions based on up-to-date data.

“Any time an executive can access a report when they need it without having to ask for it, the whole company saves money and runs more efficiently. We know our clients serve competitive markets, so our focus has been to provide quick access to data and improve company workflow,” said John Granger, President of Mapcom Systems.
