Enhancements and new features have been added to M4 Workforce to cater towards the healthcare industry.

March 27, 2014 – RICHMOND, VA – Mapcom Systems attended the PEAK Leadership Summit March 17-19, 2014 in Washington, D.C. to introduce their M4 Workforce module to the healthcare industry. Mapcom’s revamped product is intended for use by businesses ranging from home healthcare facilities and nursing homes to large hospital campuses.

M4 Workforce enables management of clinicians’ schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to the point of automatically assigning visits based upon predetermined skill sets and availability. From schedulers and clinicians to management, M4 Workforce offers the capability to initiate, schedule, clear, close, defer and track work of any kind, internally or externally. M4 Workforce is interoperable with electronic medical records and every billing system on the market to provide a complete web-based solution for efficient workforce management.

Attendees of the 2014 PEAK Leadership Summit included executives from healthcare companies across the country, and vendors that provided services ranging from living area design to healthcare software. The PEAK Leadership Summit featured executive education content, high-caliber speakers, and expert-led strategy sessions through specialized education formats. The schedule of events showcased several diverse learning formats to help those in the industry better interact with thought leaders as they learned about new and exciting developments in their field.

“The purpose behind M4 Workforce is to provide an intelligent, interoperable approach to home healthcare management,” said Chuck Flournoy, COO for Mapcom Systems. “Our motto of ‘one action, one place, one time’ is what spearheads efficiency in workflow operations.”

The prominent features of the software include: mobile access to integrated patient records, with each clinician having their own web-based dashboard; built-in clinician skill sets to provide appropriate automatic scheduling; tracking of medical supplies and inventory; and directions to patient locations to reduce time spent on the road or planning the best route. Healthcare companies will reap many benefits from this interoperable software, ranging from a better workflow to reduced reassessments, which leads to better patient outcomes and enhanced revenue.
