The M4 Users Conference isn’t all hard work and information cramming- we’ve also packed the schedule with Richmond adventures and plenty opportunities to let loose. Whether you’re joining us for 3 days or 5, we’ve made sure you’ll have a good time in our hometown!
Will you be here for training on Monday? Then we hope to see you at one of our optional outings! The Captain’s Choice Golf Tourney is a chance for you to tee off at a local golf course with some of our Mapcom employees. Or maybe you would rather experience the rich history of Richmond, VA on the Hollywood Cemetery Segway tour. This historic site is the second most visited cemetery in the country behind Arlington. The third optional outing is the ever-popular Richmond Brewery Tour. Guests can sign up to enjoy a trolley ride to three of our local breweries, including a crash course on beer tasting and an in-depth tour of one of the breweries.
If you’re taking two training classes on Monday, don’t worry about missing out! We have something for you, too: the Monday evening Happy Hour. One of our favorite local breweries, Legend Brewing Company, will be hosting our group for drinks and food overlooking the iconic James River. Legend’s Lager, Brown Ale, and IPA are staples in the Richmond area, so don’t miss out trying some local flavors.
Tuesday night is also stacked with some more opportunities to mingle with your peers. At our Cocktail Reception you’ll be able to relax and get to know your fellow attendees. Hosted onsite in the Marriott, you can come grab a drink or two while you chat with Mapcom employees and other M4 users. Afterward, you might join us for the Richmond area Dine-Around. If you signed up for this unique dinner plan, you’ll be grouped with similar peers and escorted by Mapcom staff to a local restaurant for tried and true Richmond cuisine.
Finally, Wednesday night brings us to our favorite social event of the whole conference: the Customer Appreciation Dinner. Every year, we like to show our users how much we appreciate their dedication to M4 and the journey they make to our Users Conference. Hosted at a surprise location this year, we’ll have dinner, drinks and dancing for a fun night of celebration. You can also look forward to games, karaoke and the famous Mappy Awards.
